The Three Musketeers is a French historical novel written in 1844 by French author Alexandre Dumas. It is the story of d’Artagnan, a chivalrous swordsman who joins the ranks of the Musketeers of the Guard. He is befriended by three of the most formidable musketeers, Athos, Porthos and Aramis, the “Three Musketeers.”
This deck is inspired by their story and illustrated in the engraving style of the time period. Printed by the United States playing card company, the Standard edition features a dark blue tuck case.
