In life, things are rarely what they seem. Sometimes the most common thing has its hidden details, and the more you try to look, the less clear things might appear. That is exactly the philosophy this new deck is built upon. What are “hidden detail playing cards” you may ask? They are playing cards that utilize its artworks to hide a secret message or symbols in plain sight, it takes a unique perspective to reveal the hidden details.
🪐 You can either decide to take the design at its cover (and don’t get us wrong, it is beautiful), or you can allow yourself to be drawn closer, and spend some time discovering the plethora of hidden details lurking in the corners of the illustrations. In fact, there are different forms of the devil’s outline scattered around the faces of the decks, and it requires some close inspection to reveal them. You can say that the Devil is in the details, but the closer you look, the less you see…

🪐 The Devil’s in the Details comes in two luxurious versions, the Glamorous Gold and Sinful Silver. The box is, as expected, dark as the devil’s soul. However, the pitch-black background comes alive with white and gold, or silver foil interwoven into an intricate pattern. At the centre of it is a decorative oval, holding white letters announcing the deck’s name in elegant letters. Below, you can see Satan himself, laughing maniacally as his sharp horns point upwards. He is accompanied by two satyrs with their goat legs crossed. On two majestic pedestals of each side are two other likenesses of the devil, this time as Lucifer, the fallen angel with demon wings, wielding a long trident. If you follow upwards, it will lead your eyes to two gargoyle-like demons, holding open a scroll, which conveys to you an ominous message: “The more you look, the less you see…”
🪐 The back of the box doesn’t fall behind in the decorativeness and richness of detail. Instead of the deck’s name in the middle of the oval, we see a sizable two-headed serpent, coiling around the devil’s trident. The picture is dominated on both ends by three more demons, holding guard over the scene.
🪐 As you untuck the top flap, you will be greeted by yet another cackling devil’s head, who seems to be pleased with whatever awaits you inside the box. Sure enough, the inside is filled to the brim with a curled-up snake, ready to jump out of the box and bite! Don’t be afraid, its glistening fangs and textured skin is made out of golden or silver foil, immortalized on the pitch-black paper.
