🌟 The “Twelve Chapters” is inspired by the patterns embroidered on the imperial robes of ancient emperors. Fans who are familiar with the King Star Cloud / Sea series should know that its design inspiration comes from Hanfu, the Chinese traditional costume.
🌟 In ancient times, clothes also played a role in defining status, and the “twelve-chapter pattern” was a symbol of clothing rank in the Chinese imperial era, referring to the twelve kinds of embroidered patterns on the dresses of ancient Chinese emperors and senior officials: respectively It is the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the dragon, the Chinese insects, the zongyi, the algae, the fire, the rice flour, the millet, and the millet, commonly known as the “twelve chapters.”
🌟 Therefore, the designer Miss Vara chose the twelve chapter pattern as the design theme. (This is the first work of Vara and King Star collaboration, and it is also the first work of King Star not designed by LemonKT. It is of extraordinary significance~) She combined twelve patterns with card design elements, and combined with meaning.
🌟 Created with auspicious beauty, continuous delicate, complex, and gorgeous Paisley patterns and traditional decorative painting styles, making the works go beyond the simple “national style design” and have more charm. The final display in front of you are these two works: the black-and-white version “Twelve Chapters: Ink Rhythm Misty Rain” and the color version “Twelve Chapters: Splendid Last Dream”.
🌟 Moreover, these two cards are not simply a change in colour. The points of the two sets are the same as the head cards, but the other pattern details and the use of tones make the two sets of cards present a completely different feeling. Just like its name, “Ink Rhythm Misty Rain” only uses the three colors of black, white and gray. The combination of them gives the card a quiet and indifferent, hazy and retro static elegance. The “Splendid Last Dream” uses a gradual blue-purple color tone on the basis of pink and purple, so that the whole deck of cards presents a dreamlike and agile charm, adding a bit of beautiful beauty.
