1st generation in 2008 had a transparent Plastic case – Sold Out
2nd generation in 2009 has the Black Textured hard case and White Racing Strip back.
2nd generation reprint in 2019 has the Black Textured hard case and Full Rider Back

* Note this is NOT the edition with a White Racing Stripe.
* Racing Stripe (original 2009) has a Red Ace of Spades logo on tuck front. It’s Out of Print, and I sell to China Cardistry community. This is the current resale market value.
* The other edition with regular Red Rider Back without a White Racing Stripe (reprint 2019) has a Black Ace of Spades logo on tuck front. It is still available from the official wholesaler Murphy’s Magic at a more reasonable price.

Known issues
– TL:DR: I don’t recommend these cards unless you’re a Bicycle fan.
– Full disclosure, as I sell alot of PVC Plastic Playing Cards, I have to say that those are more durable than the Bicycle ones. Afterall, Bicycle are famous for their paper cards. Although Bicycle says they are 100% plastic, they feel more like plastic coated cards I have from another brand.
– They are still more durable than paper. They are bendable, and washable. Many reviews online saying they are prone to chips and cracks on the corners. Whereas PVC plastic is impossible to destroy, you literally cannot tear it. Full disclosure on what to expect, if you’re buying these for Cardistry.

Many professionals prefer the flexibility and durability of plastic cards. These Bicycle prestige playing cards offers unmatched durability and is the only 100% plastic card to offer a paper-like feel. Perfect for a neighborhood game or a professional tournament.

Design: Overall, they look pretty nice. The faces are normal, including the Jokers. The backs, however, have a unique design on them; they aren’t your average bikes. They’re fairly elegant looking, although there is a white stripe that runs down the middle that reminds me of a racing stripe.

Feel: These are plastic cards. However, they were designed to feel like paper cards–and surprisingly, they do!

Handling: However, despite feeling like paper cards, they do not handle like paper cards. They are super slidey (even more so than when you open a new regular deck of Bikes), and the slidey-ness doesn’t go away. However, they don’t clump like a lot of other (poorly made) plastic cards, which is a good thing. After you get used to the slidey-ness, they’re actually not all that bad to handle.

They’re actually workable for magic. You can pull off double lifts, forces, etc with ease, after having handled the cards for a while. There was a definite learning curve to handling these cards, but once you get passed it, they’re not all that bad to handle.
