“When we say spicy instant noodles, we’re sure that one of the things that come to your mind is most likely the spicy noodles challenge, or more formally known as the “fire noodle challenge.” Whether it be a single pack of noodles, different versions of spicy noodles, or even a mukbang, it has for sure taken the internet by storm. Now we’re taking on the challenge ourselves by bringing you our take on the iconic spicy noodles – playing cards edition! Can YOU handle the spice?

– Packaging
Our spicy noodles are back with our resealable plastic bag! We’ve modified our design to allow the deck to be removed from the packaging easier. Instead of the opening at the top that we had last time, we made the opening on the side. With a bigger opening, you’ll have an easier time enjoying the noodles!
– Our packaging theme reflects the fiery taste of our noodles. The black background and the eye-catching red flames serve as ample warning to those who aren’t prepared to experience the spiciness of our deck. The nutrition facts and ingredients are printed on the back of the packaging for those of you who are curious about what’s in our deck. We have a few hidden gems in the printing, so be sure to keep an eye out to see what you can spot!
Both the box and the bag carry the same design, so you can carry just the deck with you and still have all the spice you need right in your pocket!
– Back Design
Bold and hot – that’s what this back design is about! The eye-catching pop of golden yellow from the chopsticks allows for an elegant contrast of color. The fire red noodles are entangled in a way that appears random, but we actually managed to make it a two-way back design. This deck was made with a magician-conscious mindset, so another change we made to the original design was that we added a border too. All this combined is what we feel like to be the most representative back design for our Instant Noodles Spicy Edition remake.
– Suit and Number Cards
We kept the same minimalist noodle pattern for suit and number cards – why change something that’s already perfect? The Spicy Noodles Deck is back with our beloved classic suit design. We kept the enlarged Aces so that the details of each strand of noodle are visible, and recolored our lovely Ace of Spades in a bold red color!
– Court Cards
We created a whole new set of court cards with new faces and actions! If you look closely enough, you’ll be able to see who can handle the spice and who can’t. With all these spiced-up cards we’re sure you’ll find yourself somewhere in the deck!
– Jokers
We couldn’t picture our deck without the return of our adorable running ramen boy! This time he’s seen holding a fire extinguisher – probably to help you manage that heat you feel from just seeing the cards. We’ve also included a little treat in one of the bowls for our fellow magician friends – if you know you know 😉
– Extra Cards
You can’t have instant noodles without the soup base and seasoning, right? Lucky for you, we’ve included our amazing secret formula spicy soup base and seasoning! These cards are a core feature of our spicy noodles experience, and we’ve included two stickers with each of the designs! So feel free to show off your spice by sticking them onto your laptop, phone case, or whatever else you think could use a bit more spice!

Hi there! My name is Bao Hoang and I’m mostly known as a magician and content creator. I always knew that I wanted to create a spicy version of our iconic first deck, the Instant Noodles Playing Cards. This project has been in the works for several months now and I am both so proud and so excited to be able to bring this fantastic rendition of our classic Instant Noodles to you. We would have never been able to execute this project without the original illustrations and designs from Meko Deng and Angga Tantama. This spicy readaptation has been designed by Rich Li.
