// Functional design meets portable cuteness!
Portability is everything these days, and with this pocket-sized deck, you can really bring it with you anywhere.
Our paper box design is just as enticing as an actual cup of matcha bubble tea! The pairing of the green and cream tones perfectly captures the velvety concoction that is matcha milk tea. You can’t really call it bubble tea unless it has bubbles, right? The added pearls on the box design is really what pulls the entire concept together!
Now onto our most unique feature of this deck: the cup! What do we mean by “cup”? We’re talking about our specially designed plastic casing that comes with each and every deck! This plastic box not only serves as a cup, it also doubles as a protective layer for the more delicate paper box.
We included a little cut-out-like circle on the lid of the box to emulate the experience of poking a straw through, but it’s only for decor! Please don’t actually put a straw through!
Our well-thought-out packaging will for sure put a smile on your face, and you’ll be just as happy as the cute smiley face on the case!

Our two-way design captures the process of perfectly whisked matcha poured over your preferred milk base. The chewy boba is covered by a delicately sweetened milk base that’s finally topped off with velvety matcha that will definitely leave you wanting more.
With a subtle metallic light green ink, you can really experience the magical freshness of our matcha!
By taking the time to create an aesthetic that’s totally Insta worthy, you wish you could actually take a sip!

What’s a custom deck without custom pips? We created a fresh look for this deck with a complete set of matcha-inspired pips! The blend of Waves of milky matcha
The black and red pips that you know and love have been upgraded to match our matcha theme. The originally black pips are now a deep brown that represents the perfectly cooked tapioca pearls, and the red pips have been transformed into matcha! Each and every single pip has a wave-shaped layer of matcha milk tea to fully tie the theme together.
For our ace of spades, we decided to forgo the typical enlarged version of the spade. We instead created a whole new design just for the iconic ace of spades! This design itself is an actual cup of matcha boba with splashes of matcha milk tea around the spade. You’ll never find another ace of spades that makes you crave boba as much as this one!

My name is Bao Hoang. As a bubble tea enthusiast and a playing card collector, I wanted to combine my appreciation for both by bringing you the Matcha Boba Playing Cards by Bao Bao Restaurant. The Matcha Boba Playing Cards is a concept by myself and illustrated by Meko Deng, Angga Tantama, and Rich Li.
